The 21-year-old drummer lives a busy but #blessed life, as 5SOS is currently traveling the world on the Rock Out with Your Socks Out Tour, prepping to perform their latest single "She's Kinda Hot" at the Teen Choice Awards later this month, and gearing up for the release of their new album (due out in November.)
Life can be pretty overwhelming when you have a crazy-busy sched like that. In fact, Ash told the Sydney Morning Herald that he has dealt with anxiety and depression and hopes the band's music will "help other young people dealing with personal issues."
5SOS' music isn't the only thing Ashton creates to help fans cope, however -- with more than 4 million followers, he uses his Twitter as platform to promote positivity and shares encouraging and insightful words of advice with anyone who may be feeling down. (He also posts super rad photos of street art and tour updates on the reg.)

Ashton always checks in with the #5SOSFAM to make sure everyone is groovy.
He focuses on what's good.
And lives in the moment.
The best advice he has: Be yourself.
Sunshine + donuts = Simple bliss.
Every day is a fresh start.
Technology is great but can also be a lil unsettling.
Do your thang!
