Lil Wayne Taking Seizure Medication After Health Scare

A couple of days after [article id="1696290"]Lil Wayne suffered from seizure-like symptoms[/article] aboard his private jet, forcing an emergency landing, the New Orleans native took to Twitter simply writing to fans, "Thanx for all the prayers! I am good." Wayne didn't want to make a big deal about the whole thing, but his recovery regimen includes seizure medication and plenty of water.

During the "MTV First" premiere of his "No Worries" music video, Wayne sat down with Sway Calloway at a Miami-area skate park, but when things got a bit hot on set, the rapper-turned-skateboarder wanted to emphasize that his medication was affecting him.

"Please let them know that I have an air unit, but because of the sound, they don't want the air on, so it's super hot in here," Wayne declared, adding, "I don't want y'all to think I'm on nothing, man. I'm on seizure medicine, man, that's all."

Although his camp chalked the [article id="1696316"]health scare up to dehydration and a severe migraine[/article] to avoid extra scrutiny, Wayne revealed that he is now taking medicine that prevents seizures and doctors have given him pretty strict orders since the incident -- even if he isn't exactly adhering to their regimen.

"They said I gotta drink four water bottles a day, that's what the doctors say," Wayne said, almost in disbelief. "I just came from the doctor. I ain't drinking four water bottles, but everything's good."

Even though the news initially alarmed fans, Weezy's YMCMB crew has stressed that he's been well taken care of.
