Wale Splits From Roc Nation, Joins LeBron James' Management Team

A new chapter.

After five years being managed by Roc Nation, Wale has left the house that Hov built.

The split between the rapper and the company founded by Jay Z was amicable, according to XXL. Now, he's said to be joining up with 77 Management Group, which is run by Leonard Brooks, Rich Paul, and Maverick Carter, and also represents LeBron James.

Complex pointed out that the DMV native has already been removed from the official Roc Nation site, as well.

His Album About Nothing is scheduled to drop later this year.

Wale appeared on "Don't Shoot," the star-studded tribute to Michael Brown, also featuring Game, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Fabolous and more, which was released on Wednesday. You can stream it below.
