It looks like Leonardo DiCaprio will be the internet's favorite person this awards season. "The Revenant" star set social media aflame in January with his reaction to Lady Gaga's "American Horror Story: Hotel" Golden Globe win. And at Sunday night's (Jan. 31) SAG awards, DiCaprio again gave the web something to chatter about... his vape. Yep, really.
DiCaprio, who took home the SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, had zero chill when he decided to whip out his vape mid-show. See?
The internet in all its meme-sharing glory had a lot of opinions about DiCaprio's e-cig.
Whatever your thoughts on vaping, the fact remains that e-cigarettes aren't doing DiCaprio's lungs (or yours) any favors. As vape use rises among teenagers, health and safety becomes a bigger concern. Research shows even nicotine-free vapes, though safer than traditional cigarettes, harm lung cells.
