HAMM Is Making All Your Double Denim Dreams A Reality
No, Jon Hamm didn't just break out a ready-to-wear line for Spring/Summer 2015. HAMM (the all-caps is a style choice, OKURRR?) is the namesake line of Parsons grad Hye Gin Hamm and was one of four designers tapped by VFiles for their annual New York Fashion Week staple VFiles Made Fashion show.
You're probably so stoked about the dropping temperatures and the onset of autumn chill (finally!!) that you don't even want to THINK about next spring and summer, but if HAMM's NYFW debut collection is any indication, that season is going to be REALLY exciting. Namely, you're going to finally be able to live out your wildest Britney Spears + Justin Timberlake double denim dreams (shouts to Katy and Riff Raff)!
On a nerdier fashion note, HAMM talks us through the seriously impressive technical deets that went into creating these pieces—from their Korean-meets-American culture clash origins to the mechanics behind the felted panels.
