Bonnaroo Is The Size Of 375 Football Fields, Plus Other Insane Festival Facts

Bonnaroo by the numbers.

The summer music festival season has been great so far and on Thursday, Jun. 11, things are going to get even better. The team here at MTV has touched down at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival; and we're excited to see everyone from Kendrick Lamar to Mumford & Sons, but it's not just the music that makes Bonnaroo so special.

We've been eagerly anticipating this one for the past 365 days (give or take a few), since last year's trip to Manchester, Tennessee and you can say we've been a bit number obsessed. We've been so fascinated by the math of Bonnaroo that we hit up Rick Farman, one of the masterminds behind the festival, and picked his brain to come up with this cool by the numbers piece.

Prepare to be amazed.
