Ariana Grande And Her Mom Point Out What's 'Wrong' About Magazine Marketing

Ari and her 'feminist mama' speak up against sexism.

Ariana Grande and her "feminist mama" don't want to abide by anyone's sexist expectations. Joan Grande and her daughter went off on Twitter this weekend to point out the antiquated segregation of "women's interest" magazines and "men's interest" magazines.

"What's wrong with this picture??" Joan asked, posting a photo of a magazine stand with two clearly seperate sections -- business mags were under the label "men's interest," and gossip and fashion mags were under "women's interest."

And just like her mom, Ari had to speak up: "oh! so women are only interested in tabloids& if I want to read about cars, business, science I have to go to the MEN'S section?" she asked rhetorically.

Of course, since many Arianators are like-minded, they got it too. Ariana led the way, saying that she knows plenty of dudes who go for fashion publications.

Ari praised her mom for standing up for what she believes it, and assigned her a few cute hashtags too.
