Did participating in the show make you more aware that you had a diagnosable disorder?

I still don't feel that my disorder has been properly diagnosed, and the anxiety caused by social situations is only part of something deeper.

Do you think you're now more aware of how much social anxiety holds you back?

Being on the show definitely opened my eyes to the limitations my anxiety creates for me. It wasn't until actually telling my story out loud that I became aware of how unfulfilled my life has been.

Was the trade-off in stopping Paxil worth it?

There is no better or worse when I have Paxil operating in my system. My decision to stop taking the drug was not met with a consequence, I only reverted to my former self. Both states of being were unbearable, I just chose the one with which I am most familiar.

Where do you think you will be in five years?

I have to start from scratch, so I imagine in five years I will be living on my own and finishing school.

Did participating in the show help you to step outside of your comfort zone?

It definitely helped me step outside of my comfort zone. It was therapeutic for me to share my story with the MTV viewers. I'm sure many people can relate to having social anxiety in one form or another. I want everyone to know that if you are determined and don't give up, you can improve yourself.

Have you gone back to harmonial or traditional therapy?

No, I decided to meditate on my own, and chose to follow the advice and encouragement of my family and close friends, which has helped me out tremendously.

Have you tried any new approaches to dating?

I'm still hopeful that I can find a girlfriend through my YouTube dating video. I have also been going to many young professional and charitable networking events to socialize and meet some attractive ladies. I'm open to all possibilities, and I'm continuing my journey until I find my Miss Right.

Where do you think you will be in five years?

I hope to be in a meaningful relationship with an awesome girl.
