A Totally Scientific Ranking Of Which MTV Movie Award 'Best Kiss' Winners Will Kiss

Awwwwww yeaaaah.

This April 12th, one of the most important and prestigious honors that can be bestowed upon a pair of talented actors will be presented the MTV Movie Awards: "Best Kiss." Boy, did it just get hot in here, or is it me?

Nowadays, it's fairly common for each year's winners to revisit the kiss that helped them take home the Popcorn Award. But not everyone is always so game -- remember last year when Jennifer Aniston shot Will Poulter down via a TEXT? Harsh.

To help you prepare for what you may or may not end up seeing when the award is given out, we've ranked the likelihood that each duo's tongues will touch from least to most likely, starting with:

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"

Chance of kissing: 45%

We had this real-life couple much higher on the list at first, but now it seems like the two might have called it quits -- which means that if they DO kiss, it's gonna be super awkward.

Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"

Chance of kissing: 50%

Every nerd dreams of seeing Black Widow and Captain America make out (except the ones who ship PeggyCap exclusively -- or BlackHawk, or Brucetasha, or BuckyCap, what have you). But considering that it was done in the name of action movie espionage rather than true love, we're gonna guess that the actors won't be as compelled to reenact their kiss. Still, you never know -- Marvel's leading heroes are all pretty well known for their odd sense of humor, and They ARE all going to be there at the Movie Awards!

Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, "The Fault in Our Stars"

Chance of kissing: 82%

Shailene and Ansel are magnificent as Hazel and Augustus, but since they filmed that scene they've gone back to playing brother and sister in "The Divergent Series: Insurgent." People are going to WANT them to kiss for heartbreaking cancer-related romance reasons, but it's possible the two could chicken out -- or, if they really wanted to destroy some nerdfighters, Ansel Elgort could fake a collapse.

Rose Bryne and Halston Sage, "Neighbors"

Chance of kissing: 100%

Thanks to Halston Sage's Twitter, we know she is 100% on board to kiss SOMEONE no matter what happens. Rose Bryne isn't around? No worries, she'll just grab "Paper Towns" co-star Cara Delevigne out of the audience instead.

James Franco and Seth Rogen, "The Interview"

Chance of kissing: like 1000%, c'mon

There's NO way these two longtime buddies (and professional Kimye reenactors) won't lock lips if they win -- and they'll probably make it even more passionate than the kiss from their movie. It's gonna be just like that time Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams recreated "The Notebook"...only with a lot more "Lord of the Rings" references, we bet.

Remember, there's still time to vote for your favorite kiss!
