Iggy Azalea Invites Erykah Badu's Daughters To Her Upcoming Concert
The Iggy Azalea and Erykah Badu back-and-forth has been an interesting one.
It all started at The Soul Train Awards, when host Erykah Badu said Iggy could participate in the non-rap show because she “definitely” doesn’t do hip-hop.
Then, Iggy seemed to reply by claiming that people discredit her accomplishments. Even if it wasn’t a reply, Erykah quoted that, and said she would never send an Uber for Iggy again.
It didn’t end there. Yesterday, Badu posted this message about her 11 and 6-year-old daughters, Puma and Mars, on Twitter:
"I want to do this for my daughters. I want to apologize to Iggy Azalea because she’s one of their favorite artists and they listen to her all the time," Badu said in the above clip. "It’s for them, but when I really think about it, if y’all love her so much, why don’t y’all go be with her then. Go on, be with her, y’all. Go on, Puma. Go on, Mars.
"Is Iggy Azalea gonna miss the healing seminar to go up to the school to sit across from the teacher so she can tell you that all y’all been doing is talking to your neighbor and not getting you lesson?" she continued. "Is she? Where’s Iggy for that?"
Shortly after that, Iggy responded with a new message, this time inviting Badu’s kids to her upcoming concert (if they do well in school, of course).
Wonder if/how Erykah will respond to that.
