Lindsay Lohan’s 'Freaky Friday' Mom Defends Her After Nasty Donald Trump Comments

Jamie Lee Curtis is not having it

As women continue to come forward with allegations involving sexual assault and misconduct perpetrated by Donald Trump, quotes and clips continue to draw attention to the disturbing and inappropriate things Trump has said about various women. This time, a sound bite from an interview with Howard Stern concerns Lindsay Lohan – and Jamie Lee Curtis, who played Lohan’s mom in 2003’s Freaky Friday, will not stand for Trump’s disrespectful language.

In a 2004 chat on “The Howard Stern Show,” Trump said that Lohan, then a teenager, would likely be “great in bed” because she was “deeply troubled,” alluding to her complicated relationship with her father, Michael Lohan, and her hard-partying public persona. The full quote: “She’s probably deeply troubled and therefore great in bed. How come the deeply troubled women, you know, deeply, deeply troubled, they’re always the best in bed?”

Curtis — who worked with Lohan back when she was a teen — had none of the resurfaced clip, and voiced support for her former costar on Twitter.

CNN reached out to Lohan’s camp following the airing of the clip, and the actress’s rep released the following statement: “Right now, Lindsay is choosing to focus on the positive things happening in her life and has decided to disregard the comments made about her by Presidential nominee Donald Trump. She is focusing on helping children around the world in need and that’s where her passion is.”
