'School Of Rock' Cast Members Hung Out With Their Broadway Mini-Mes: See The Pics

They're all still sticking it to the Man.

At long last, the highly-anticipated Andrew Lloyd Webber musical "School of Rock" began previews on Monday. Based on the 2003 Jack Black film of the same name, the story centers around Dewey Finn (Black in the film, Alex Brightman on Broadway), a washed up rocker who poses as a substitute teacher at a fancy schmancy prep school to earn some quick cash. But after learning his students are gifted musicians, he enters the class into a Battle of the Bands competition.

After the musical's first preview, eight of the OG "School of Rock" kids hung out with their Broadway counterparts, and it's seriously too much to handle.

Webber, Brightman and several of the "School of Rock" kids celebrated the first official preview at the Winter Garden Theater.

The Katies (Brown and Evie Dolan) rocked it out.

Fun fact #1: In 2013, the cast celebrated the film's 10th anniversary by playing music together in Austin, TX.

While the Tomikas (Hassan and Bobbi MacKenzie) owned the night.

Fun fact #2: Instead of just filming his scenes and then leaving, Black would remain on set, playing with his co-stars.

And neither tacky nor hateful, the Billys (Falduto and Luca Padovan) looked absolutely stylin'.

Fun fact #3: According to Falduto, Billy was "originally of Indian heritage."

Fingers crossed Black and the other OG cast members attend the show in the coming weeks!
