This Picture Is Proof That Lil Wayne Is Hard At Work On 'Sorry 4 The Wait 2'

It's the remix, baby.

At this point, as issues between Lil Wayne and Birdman continue to delay Tha Carter V, all we can do is wait for the album, and hope it comes soon. Weezy knows this, and he wishes he we didn't have to wait, but to make it up to us, he's going to apologize.

All signs point to the Young Money rapper preparing a new mixtape, Sorry 4 the Wait 2. On Monday night, Mack Maine posted a picture of himself and Wayne in the studio, along with the caption, "Sorry4TheWait2 Flow Deaux."

This is the second time Mack has dropped a hint about the project, though last time it was even less direct, with the hashtag "Sorry4daWait2" accompanying a photo of him.

The "wait" is due to Wayne's problems with Cash Money co-founder Birdman, whom he aired out last month, tweeting that he wanted "nothing to do with" him or the label anymore. Just a few days later, he doubled down, calling it a "bad situation."

The mixtape is a follow up to Tunechi's Sorry 4 the Wait, which dropped in 2011 amid delays on Tha Carter IV.
