'Sons Of Anarchy': Theo Rossi Tells Us All About His Nude Scene And Death Chances

'He's like a cockroach.'

"Sons of Anarchy" has always been a show about many things. Things like family. Things like death. Things like mayhem, motorcycles, and modern manhood.

But for many fans, "Sons" has also been about Charlie Hunnam's wonderfully gratuitous nudity -- and now, finally, during the premiere of the show's seventh and final season, this gratuitous nudity will shift to another popular member of SAMCRO: the emotionally battered Juice.

MTV News chatted with Juice himself, Theo Rossi, over the phone on Monday, and the actor was more than happy to discuss his upcoming scenes (that's right, it's plural) in the buff, as well as his (slim?) chances of survival during the show's final ride.

"I'm more than shirtless," Rossi laughed about his big premiere scene. "We just said the [Twitter] hashtag would be #nakedpushups."

However, the hashtag might actually have to be #nakedeverything or #newJax, because Rossi claims that -- due to the emotionally fragile nature of his character right now -- he'll be spending a lot of time in the buff as he hides out from the rest of SAMCRO this season.

"I think I’m more nude on the show this year than I've been in my shower in the last five years," he said. "That's [showrunner] Kurt Sutter, man. It's why I love him. He just does these things that are so out of left field and so cool -- if you're losing your mind, you're naked. That’s just the way it goes. Most people when they start going crazy, they're just completely naked."

We at MTV News have screened the first episode of "Sons," and can verify that Juice isn't just going crazy, he's already fully there. From the ratting to the suicide attempt to the smothering to the murder of Eli Roosevelt, it hasn't been an easy few years for the character, which is why now -- as he hides out from the rest of the crew with only Gemma (Katey Sagal) knowing where he is -- many fans have predicted that Juice will be one of the two club members who dies by the end of the season.

"I watch the show as a fan, and I literally sit down and I'm like, 'I can't believe this idiot, Juice, what is he doing?'" Rossi said. "I literally get as mad as everybody else."

Still, Rossi explained that Juice's relative stupidity has been great for the actor, since it led him to the great plot line he has coming up with Gemma, as both of them try to deal with the fact that they murdered Tara and Roosevelt then covered it up.

"There’s this strange bedfellows thing, this unholy alliance of us together, and it's really fun," he explained. "She's all he has right now. He wants to believe what she believes. What she believes -- well, we see in the first episode what she believes. You can talk yourself into anything in this world. You can really justify anything in your head."

What Gemma forces herself to believe (and trust us, it's something that causes an insane amount of mayhem) will surely lead to even more problems (and more nudity?) for Juice, but don't for one second count him out as the series comes to an end -- no matter what those online death polls might say.

"If Juice has shown one thing, he's like a cockroach," Rossi concluded. "But I will say, his days are numbered. What that means... everybody's just got to watch. There's a reckoning of some type coming."

"Sons of Anarchy" premieres Tuesday, September 9 at 10 p.m. on FX.
