J.K. Rowling Has A Warning For Anyone Seeing 'Harry Potter And The Cursed Child'

Heed her words, Potterheads

This July, J.K. Rowling's famous Harry Potter story continues with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The two-part stage play, a sequel about Harry's son Albus Severus Potter, debuts in London's Palace Theatre on July 30, with previews beginning Tuesday, June 7. That's tomorrow, you guys!

But before you get hyped for more HP, Rowling has a friendly PSA for anyone lucky enough to see the play early on.

"You've been amazing for years at keeping Harry Potter secrets, so you didn't spoil the books for readers who came after you," Rowling says in a new video message posted on Monday. "So I'm asking you one more time to keep the secrets and let audiences enjoy Cursed Child with all the surprises that we've built into the story. Thank you."

If you can't make it to London this summer, fear not. The script for Cursed Child is being published as a book, out July 31. To hold you over until then, check out these preview photos of the Potters, the Granger-Weasleys, and the Malfoys.
