Poison Planning Festival Tour
Poison, Jewel, Korn, Possum Dixon, Mike Watt, The Posies, Bobby Brown...
The '80s hard-rock band Poison are planning a summer 1999 festival
tour called "Exiled From Mainstream," which will probably include fellow '80s
rockers Def Leppard and Whitesnake, according to Poison
lead
singer Bret Michaels. "It's going to be like a Lollapalooza for hard
rock," said Michaels, whose first solo album, A Letter From Death
Row, is out this week as a companion to his film of the same name.
"It's gonna be no-ego, straight-out, one-big-stage and just play and have
fun," Michaels said of the tour, adding that it will kick off Memorial Day
weekend.
