The highly anticipated five-disc box set from blues-rock experimentalist

Captain Beefheart has been pushed back to June 22 because of

production delays with the packaging, according to a spokesperson at the

publicity firm Autotonic. Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band Grow Fins,

Rarities 1965-82 will include a 120-page hardcover book, as well as

enhanced-CD video footage shot between 1968 and 1973. The set also will

feature early, instrumental takes of songs that eventually were recorded

for Trout Mask Replica (1970), generally acknowledged to be

Beefheart's masterpiece.
