Biker Bands Nashville Pussy, Motörhead Take To The Road

Fu Manchu will join groups on 16-stop tour.

New raunch meets old this May when Nashville Pussy tours with Motörhead on a 16-stop North American trek.

The journey will kick off a week before the May 30 release of High as Hell, Nashville Pussy's follow-up to their 1998 Grammy-nominated debut, Let Them Eat Pussy. The bands will cover the West Coast, head into Canada and then wrap up the tour June 10 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Hard-rock veterans Motörhead earned popularity among bikers in the late '70s with such songs as "Iron Horse" (RealAudio excerpt). The trio will release their 20th album, We are Motörhead, on May 16.

Fu Manchu, another band with a lyrical interest in cars and motorcycles, also are on the bill. King of the Road, released Feb. 15, includes the song "Hell on Wheels" (RealAudio excerpt).

Speedealer will fill the opening slot throughout the tour.
