Lady Gaga Covers 4 Non Blondes' 'What's Up' With Gritty Emotion
Watch while Gaga gives the song a few more grunts.
Lady Gaga's latest cover isn't one of those jazz classics written by Cole Porter or Nat King Cole that she's been singing with legend Tony Bennett. Nope, now she's taking on one-hit wonder 4 Non Blondes' "What's Up."
During her ArtRave in Vienna, Austria, Gaga whipped out the 1992 classic by songwriter to the stars Linda Perry's band and gave it a little extra grunt. In a pink polk-dot leotard and blonde wig, Gaga didn't look anything like grunge-y singers of the '90s, but with a green army jacket and pleading, pushing emotions, she totally nailed it.
Now we're just waiting on that duets album with Pearl Jam...
Here's the original. Watch and compare!
