Taking Back Sunday, Angels & Airwaves Announce Tour Dates
Things must be going pretty well for Taking Back Sunday on their first headlining tour as major-label artists, because the band has just announced another jaunt that will launch June 22. TBS will be in good company, breaking in Tom DeLonge's Angels & Airwaves on their first tour and Head Automatica, as well.
The 22-date itinerary begins in Jackson, New Jersey, and crisscrosses the continent for a month before winding down in San Diego on July 23, though more dates are expected to be announced.
In addition to being tourmates, all three acts have another thing in common: Each will drop a new album in the coming months. Taking Back Sunday's Louder Now hits stores April 25 (see [article id="1527172"]"Taking Back Sunday Say Debuting At #800 Wouldn't Bother Them"[/article]), Angels & Airwaves' We Don't Need to Whisper bows May 23 (see [article id="1524676"]"Tom DeLonge Puts His Money Where His Mouth Is -- New Song Hits The Web"[/article]), and Head Automatica will release Popaganda June 6 (see [article id="1521412"]"Daryl Palumbo Spreads Head Automatica Popaganda"[/article]).
Taking Back Sunday launched a headlining tour in support of Louder Now on March 31, while Angels & Airwaves played their first-ever show last weekend in Pomona, California ([article id="1528682"]"Tom DeLonge Addresses Blink With A Song At First A&A Show"[/article]).
