Do you wanna build another snowman? We really hope you do because "Frozen 2" is officially happening! [insert squealing here]
Per Variety, Disney has announced plans to produce a sequel to their wildly popular -- and Oscar-winning -- animated feature film "Frozen." And in more effing awesome news, "Frozen" directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are developing the project.
Okay, so maybe this is the least surprising news ever, but it's still pretty exciting to think Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and our queen Elsa will be back on the big screen again.
The gang, including Marshmallow the snow monster, most recently reunited for "Frozen Fever," a seven-minute short that will play ahead of Disney's live-action "Cinderella."
But the real question is will Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, AKA the Oscar-winning team behind "Let It Go," be back for "Frozen 2?" And if so, will they ever produce anything as catchy as "Let It Go?" Our guess is yes to the former, no to the latter.
Unless, of course, they find a way to bring Jack Frost from "Rise of the Guardians" into the "Frozen" universe for a duet with Elsa. Because that would be perfection.
