Yoko Ono Worried For Sons' Safety
Tells UK newspaper she's concerned because of recent attack on ex-Beatle George Harrison.
Yoko Ono told a British newspaper she is worried about the safety
of her late husband John Lennon's two musician sons, following the
recent attack on former Beatles guitarist George Harrison.
"Knowing that our close friend and his family have been subjected to a
violent incident, I am, naturally, most concerned about the safety of
Julian and Sean," Ono was quoted as saying on Sunday (Jan.
30) in The Independent. In December, Harrison suffered a collapsed
lung when an assailant stabbed him in the chest, after illegally entering
the musician's home. Lennon was murdered outside his New York apartment
building in 1980 by Mark David Chapman, who is eligible for parole in
December, according to the Associated Press.
