Nick Jonas got cooking Sunday night (August 28) at the MTV Video Music Awards, when he performed his latest single from Last Year Was Complicated, "Bacon" — nom nom nom — with Ty Dolla $ign.

Joe Jonas's DNCE, Ashley Graham, Joanne the Scammer, A$AP Ferg, and a bunch of other stars joined Nick at Tick Tock Diner outside Madison Square Garden, headquarters of the 2016 VMAs. They transformed the family friendly restaurant into a raging after-hours dance party, complete with shooting light beams and tabletop dancing.

Then the waiter of your dreams — Nick, obvi — ditched his star-studded shift to continue the party on New York City's streets. He closed out the performance on top of a fire truck, surrounded by hundreds of screaming fans, with the Empire State Building shining in the background. What an ending.
