After the Haim sisters released Days Are Gone in 2013, we've been patiently waiting for its follow-up. They've been playing shows, going on tour with Taylor Swift and hitting the studio, but fans are in desperate need of an update.
Well, when the band hit up Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show on Friday (Oct. 30) -- dressed as zombies because Halloween -- Haim clued us in on what's happening with their sophomore LP:
"We’re getting stuff done," they said. "It’s sounding really cool. Essentially the oven has been pre-heated and the oven door is open. More 350 [degrees] if I’m being honest. Fish fingers in the tray."
Did you hear that?
The fish fingers are in the tray!
That essentially means that they just need to let a few songs cook until they are at a crispy, golden brown quality. This can only mean that a release is eminent.
Along with the album update, they announced that their Apple Music radio show, titled Haim Time, will premiere on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. PST.
And now I really want fish sticks.
