Now that he has three number one hits under his belt, things are going to get even busier for producer Rodney Jerkins.
Jerkins first reached the top of the charts with the Brandy and Monica duet "The Boy Is Mine," and returned with Monica's "Angel of Mine." He's now back on top with the debut single from Jennifer Lopez, "If You Had My Love," which ended the five-week run of Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca."
Never one to rest on his laurels, Jerkins has a number of projects in the pipeline that will see him work with some of the biggest names in music. The producer will head to London in August to work with the Spice Girls and also plans to team up with with LeAnn Rimes, Will Smith, Puff Daddy, and Toni Braxton. This summer, the producer will also introduce the world to Plush, the first signing to his Sony/ Darkchild Records.
Before all of that, Jerkins will wrap up work on Michael Jackson's comeback album, due this fall, and produce the debut solo album by SWV's Coko,
scheduled for a late summer release.
