Barenaked Ladies Plan Millennium-Ending Tour

Canadian pop-rockers to hit Buffalo, N.Y., on New Year's Eve.

Canadian pop-rockers Barenaked Ladies will work their way into the next

millennium with a short East Coast tour between Christmas and New Year's

Day.

The five-date trek is scheduled to start Dec. 28 in Washington, D.C., and

will find the Ladies celebrating New Year's Eve at the Marine Midland

Arena in Buffalo, N.Y. The tour wraps up the next night in Auburn Hills,

Mich.

Barenaked Ladies played Farm Aid '99 in September and are on tour in

Europe through the end of November. Their new song, "Get in Line," is on

the soundtrack to the animated television show "King of the Hill," which

also features several country acts covering rock hits.

After years of touring for — and releasing albums to — a devoted

fanbase, Barenaked Ladies broke wide last year with Stunt, featuring

the hits "One Week" (RealAudio

excerpt) and "It's All Been Done" (RealAudio

excerpt).

Barenaked Ladies tour dates:

Dec. 28; Washington, D.C.; MCI Center

Dec. 29; Worcester, Mass.; Centrum

Dec. 30; Uniondale, N.Y.; Nassau Coliseum

Dec. 31; Buffalo, N.Y.; Marine Midland Arena
