Franti will speak at this year's edition of the digital-music
conference Webnoize, scheduled for Nov. 1517 in Los Angeles,
organizers announced Tuesday (Nov. 2). The conference will focus on
discussions among executives in the online music industry, with speakers
including record-industry veteran Al Teller, president of the online
label Atomic Pop. Microsoft vice president Jim Allchin, EMI vice
president Jay Samit, RealNetworks chief executive officer Rob Glaser and
MTV Interactive president/CEO Nicholas Butterworth will give keynote
