Filter Announce Tour Dates To Follow Family Values

Band will hit the road in November with hard-rockers Staind.

For more than one Family Values act, the road won't end when that tour

wraps up Oct. 31. Just a day after Limp Bizkit announced their post-Family

Values plans, rockers Filter released dates for an upcoming fall tour.

The 15-date Filter outing will kick off Nov. 6 at the House of Blues in

North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and is slated to run through Nov. 28 at the

Sideshow Music Hall in Lackawanna, N.Y., according to the band's label.

Joining Filter on the tour will be Family Values mates and fellow

hard-rockers Staind, who recently released the single "Mudshovel"

(RealAudio

excerpt).

Filter's recently released sophomore album, Title of Record, has

already spawned the hard-rock hit "Welcome to the Fold" (RealAudio

excerpt), and the group is preparing to film a video for "Take

a Picture" (RealAudio

excerpt), their second single.

Although Filter's set will likely change on their headlining tour,

bandleader Richard Patrick indicated prior to the launch of Family Values

what fans could expect from his Chicago-based group.

"We're gonna do all the radio hits we've had, all the soundtrack stuff,"

Patrick said, referring to such hits as "Hey Man Nice Shot" and "(Can't

You) Trip Like I Do," Filter's collaboration with Crystal Method from

the "Spawn" soundtrack.
