A four-CD series of music from the long-running R&B variety show "Soul Train," Soul Train: The Dance Years, will be released two albums at a time Oct. 5 and Nov. 2. SonicNet had previously reported that all four CDs would be released Nov. 2. The albums will be sold individually, with the first two, chronicling the years 1978 and 1979, coming out Oct. 5; the second two, covering 1976 and 1977, are due Nov. 2. The collection will feature funk and disco hits from Chaka Khan, Parliament, Earth, Wind and Fire and the Ohio Players.
