Lilith Rep Responds to L7 Air Attack

Banner pulled by plane called 'clever PR move.'

A representative for the Lilith Fair responded to rockers L7's air attack on the female-focused festival Saturday. L7 hired a plane to fly a banner over the Rose Bowl in Pasadena that read, "Bored? Tired? Try L7." "It was a very clever PR move, and I wish them continued success," Marty Diamond, one of the four partners in the Lilith Fair tour, said in a statement. L7 also took a jab at the Vans Warped Tour; they flew a different banner, which read "Warped Needs More Bea---," over that tour's stop at Stone Pony Lot in Asbury Park, N.J., on Sunday. Representatives of the punk-focused tour have yet to respond.
