Sugar Ray To Play Special Olympics

Pop-rockers Sugar Ray, R&B veteran Stevie Wonder and gospel singer

Kirk Franklin will perform Saturday (June 26) at the opening ceremonies of the

1999 Special Olympics at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, N.C. "I totally identify with the

spirit of Special Olympics athletes and their determination to show the world what they can

do," Wonder said in statement. "Being brave enough to try to put yourself out there -- that's

what it's all about."
