Ice-T will issue advance singles from his forthcoming 7th
Deadly Sin album on the popular MP3.com website. "The future
is opening up the chance for new artists to be able to put out records
and get their music to people directly without having to sign themselves
over to slavery with a record deal," the old-school gangsta rapper said
in a statement. Ice-T also will write a column called "Ice Picks," in
which he'll recommend other hip-hop songs posted at MP3.com, and host
chats and publish editorials.
