L 7 previewed several new songs from their forthcoming album during a
performance at the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles on Friday night. New offerings from
the rock quartet included the raging "Crack Pot Baby" and a bluesy
number that bandleader Donita Sparks introduced by ordering, "Grab Your Own
Ass." X singer Exene Cervenka and former Foo Fighters
guitarist Pat Smear were among the attendees, with Cervenka joining the band
to perform three songs, including "Bad Things" off L7's latest album, The Beauty
Process: Triple Platinum. San Francisco Bay Area rock band the Donnas
opened the show.
