British pop singer Dusty Springfield was memorialized at a private funeral
service Friday that drew a congregation of 300 to St. Mary the Virgin Church in
Henley-on-Thames, England. Among the speakers at the service were '60s British pop
icon Lulu, as well as Elvis Costello and Neil Tennant of the
Pet Shop Boys, with whom Springfield recorded 1987's "What Have I Done to
Deserve This?" The 1960s pop-soul star died of breast cancer March 3 at 59.
