Power-poppers Fountains of Wayne are finishing work on their self-produced

sophomore album, Utopia Parkway, recorded in New York and Boston. The

album, the follow-up to their 1996 debut, is slated for an April release. It is expected to

feature the songs "Denise," "It Must Be Summer," "Go, Hippie," "The Valley of Malls,"

"Fine Day for a Parade," "The Senator's Daughter" and "Lost in Space."
