Van Morrison, the original co-headliner who dropped out of Bob Dylan's West Coast tour last week, is now planning to rejoin the folk-rock legend for those dates, the Vancouver Sun reported Sunday. Morrison's proposed replacement, Joni Mitchell, will still remain with the tour, making the performance a triple bill featuring three legends on one stage. In addition, Sam Feldman, Mitchell's manager, confirmed the following changes in the dates: Two nights are now scheduled for The Gorge in Washington state and only one in the San Francisco Bay Area at an as-yet-undetermined site. Also, the date for the final show in Anaheim, Calif., will be either May 23 or 24. Mitchell's performance time will be an hour, and she will be accompanied by all or part of The Brian Blade Fellowship. Brian Blade is a noted jazz drummer who has accompanied Mitchell before.
