Say It Live and Loud: Live in Dallas, a seminal recording by "Soul Brother #1," funk legend James Brown, is due for release Aug. 11.

The 24-song CD, recorded in August 1968, is 90 percent composed of previously unreleased material and includes the in-concert debut of the anthem "Say It Loud -- I'm Black and I'm Proud."

In addition to a scorching, 13-minute rendition of "Cold Sweat," the album includes the Brown staples "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag," "I Got the Feeling," "I Got You (I Feel Good)" and "Please, Please, Please."
