A British Model Shut Down A Body Shamer In The Most Spectacular Way
Online trolls: We've all come across them. The Internet hivemind suggests that no one "feed the trolls" lest they continue their reign of terror, but sometimes, you just have to respond like this woman did -- with brilliant results.
Iskra Lawrence is a British model who has appeared in ad campaigns for Aerie, among others. She often shares pictures of her adventures on her Instagram account, and late last week, she shared the following image of herself in a bikini.
Unfortunately, because we live in the age of garbage people on the Internet, she received an awful comment on the image. Lawrence shared that comment on Facebook in full:
Here's what that ๐ฎ person said, in case you can't read it:
"Fat cow. It's only cus every F****r on this planet is obese that that's the norm... Plus-size models? give me a F*****g breaking. Everyone needs to stop eating McDonald's, the NHS is f****d because of people like her eating too many bags of crisps."
Instead of cowering in a corner like all trolls imagine their comments will make someone do, Lawrence ๐ clapped ๐ back in a fabulous way. Going off his remark that people like her are "eating too many bags of crisps" (or potato chips, for you non-Brits), Lawrence recorded a slow-mo video of her doing just that:
"Sorry I'm usually not rude or give anyone the finger but these online trolls smdh ๐๐๐," she wrote in the post. (Believe us: We get it in this case, and we fully support it.)
Lawrence also shared a gorgeous shot of her enjoying several bags of crisps in her underwear, adding in her caption that while she doesn't actually condone binge eating, she eats whatever she wants in moderation. "I will eat crisps but I'll also make healthy home cooked meals and workout regularly," Lawrence said. "The message is who gives a F what anyone else thinks of you. YOU are the only one who decides yourself worthโจ"
