'Dark Knight Rises' Meets... Donald Trump?

What does Bruce Wayne have in common with Donald Trump? Beyond sitting atop a money pile that would make even Scrooge McDuck blush, the billionaire playboy who stalks Gotham City's streets at night as the Batman just so happens to operate his business on Trump's home turf.

Superhero Hype reports on the current New York City shooting of "The Dark Knight Rises," posting several set photos and first-hand accounts revealing that Trump Towers will double as Wayne Enterprises in the film. Seems like an appropriate use of the production's current New York shoot to me!

More "Dark Knight Rises" set photos have been posted at the website, including a look at Joseph Gordon-Levitt in character as Gotham City police officer John Blake—a character who may or may not eventually become Robin, depending on who you believe—walking the ravaged city's streets.

There are also several shots of Christian Bale in character as Bruce Wayne, both wearing street clothes and sporting a much more prestigious looking business suit. Seeing as the erstwhile Batman has been spotted hanging by a sleek sports car, it's safe to assume that Bruce is up to his usual playboy tricks… all a ruse to keep people off his scent as the on-the-run Caped Crusader, of course.

Head on over to Superhero Hype to see all of the amazing photos from Christopher Nolan's third and final Batman movie. And with New York shooting taking place over the next couple of weeks, expect plenty of other updates from the set of "The Dark Knight Rises" right here on Splash Page.
