Slipknot, System's Pledge Of Allegiance Tour Dates Announced
Pledge of Allegiance tour organizers have announced the full itinerary for the inaugural metal festival featuring Slipknot and System of a Down.
The seven-week trek kicks off September 14 in Rosemont, Illinois, and wraps up on Halloween in East Rutherford, New Jersey. A previously scheduled September 29 concert in Sacramento, California, has been moved to Los Angeles.
Rammstein and Mudvayne will share the stage on all of the dates. No One will open the show until October 10, when American Head Charge will replace them.
Publicists for the Pledge of Allegiance tour said in May that Slipknot and System of a Down plan to stage the tour annually (see [article id="1443368"]"System Of A Down, Slipknot Join Up For Fall Tour"[/article]).
Slipknot are promoting Iowa, which debuts at #3 next week on the Billboard 200 albums chart (see [article id="1448658"]"Aaliyah Bests Blige, Slipknot For #1 Spot"[/article]).
