The Globes, the second-biggest event of awards season (not to mention the most fun because of, well, alcohol), honor the best performances and filmmakers of the year. And if you want to ace your office Oscar pool this February, the Golden Globes are widely considered to be the best predictor for who will snag an Academy Award during the first-biggest event of the season.
