Have Mercy: Aunt Becky Confirms Her Return In 'Fuller House'

Dudes, it's official.

Cut. It. Out. Aunt Becky is back!

"Full House" star Lori Loughlin has officially signed on to guest star in the upcoming Netflix series "Fuller House." The actress announced her homecoming today (May 28) on "Good Morning America." "Officially, I am going to be part of the spinoff, 'Fuller House,'" she said.

She also gave us more insight into the new series. The first episode will feature a full-fledged "Full House" reunion, which will kick off the spinoff, starring Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner), Jodi Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler).

"It's going to be really great to be back with the whole cast. It's going to be a lot of fun," she added. "We're going to help Candace, Jodi and Andrea spin off the new show. So we'll come back and do the first episode and maybe throughout we'll pop up here and there."

Sadly, it won't be a complete Tanner family reunion. Neither Mary-Kate Olsen nor Ashley Olsen have chosen to reprise their joint role as Michelle Tanner in the revival. Though their decision left producer-star John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) "heartbroken," he promised "Full House" fans would not be disappointed:

I understand they're in a different place and I wish them the best. I promise you will not be dissapointed with our reunion and spin off!!

Loughlin echoed her TV husband's sentiment. "We would've loved it. It would've been great," she said of the Olsen twins' decision not to return for the reunion episode. "But I understand."

The Olsens might have broken our Tanner-loving hearts, but at least we still have Alex and Nicky, right? RIGHT?

"Fuller House" will follow DJ, now a mother of two (soon-to-be three) boys, as she struggles to get her life back on track following the tragic death of her husband. (Breathe easy, dudes: Steve is alive.) The series begins just as her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy -- and Kimmy’s teenage daughter -- move in to help raise her boys.
