Noreaga Awaiting Imminent Release Of Capone For New Projects

Rapper Noreaga is looking forward to the release of his longtime partner-in-rhyme, Capone, in the next two weeks, as the rapper is nearing the completion of a two-year term of incarceration on a weapons charge.

According to a representative of Capone-N-Noreaga's label, Penalty Recordings, Capone is expected to be released on February 12 from Collins Correctional Facility -- after which the duo plans to pick right back up where its 1997 album, "The War Report," left off.

Capone-N-Noreaga -- or CNN, as they are sometimes referred to in rap circles, have announced plans to release a new record, fittingly enough entitled "The Reunion," in the fall, while Noreaga will issue his sophomore solo effort, "Melvin Flynt - Tha Hustler," on May 25. It'll take a little longer for Capone to get up to speed, and has said he doesn't plan to cut his own solo album until sometime next year.

We'll have more on this story as Capone's release date from prison nears.
