"Free Girl Now," the new single that rocker Tom Petty made available for free downloading last week in the controversial MP3 format, was removed after two days at the behest of Petty's label, Warner Bros., according to a representative from "MP3.com," which hosted the song. A Warner Bros. spokesperson had no comment. The song was downloaded 157,000 times in the brief time it was available, "MP3.com" said.
