J. Cole’s New Album Drops On The Anniversary Of '2014 Forest Hills Drive'

‘4 Your Eyez Only’ is set for release

Now that we're a couple of years out from the drop of 2014 Forest Hills Drive, a live re-working of that album, a documentary, hitting platinum status (while staying humble), and an arena-filling tour, it's about time for J. Cole to put out some new music.

The rapper is set to release his fourth album, 4 Your Eyez Only, on December 9 — two years to the day from the debut of Forest Hills — so it looks like his retirement will get a stay of execution for now.

Not a whole lot of information is out beyond 4 Your Eyez Only's release date, its album art, and the fact that it'll offer 10 tracks. J. Cole's last major performance was at the Meadows music festival in NYC on October 1, so, yeah — this next week is gonna drag for Cole fans, but at least there's a light at the end of the 2016 tunnel.
