Ashton Kutcher’s (Rejected) Baby Name Choice Was Inspired By A Classic TV Character

No, it wasn’t ‘Alf’

If you didn’t already know, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are expecting their second child. And when Kutcher stopped by Conan O’Brien’s show last night (November 16), Conan asked if the new baby would have a unique name like their 2-year-old daughter, Wyatt.

“We have a name dialed in, that we’ve had for a while,” Kutcher said. But before (almost) deciding on that moniker, Kutcher had the bright idea to christen their child Hawkeye. Mmkay.

Kunis quickly vetoed that option, but I feel like it’s important to point out that the “Hawkeye” Kutcher had in mind for his son was Benjamin Franklin “Hawkeye” Pierce from the ’70s and ’80s series M*A*S*H, not Jeremy Renner’s character from the Avengers movies. (That makes it more acceptable, IMO.) Check out the clip above.
