Mark Ronson Throws Himself Into The Lady Gaga Vs. The Chainsmokers Beef

Quick, somebody get ’em some cream for that 🔥🔥🔥

What started as a dis from The Chainsmokers has now turned into a very pointed back-and-forth on Twitter between the EDM duo and Team Joanne.

When The Chainsmokers mentioned that they hated Lady Gaga’s “Perfect Illusion” in a recent Rolling Stone story, and Gaga hit back with a punny retort, that could’ve been the end of it. But now Mark Ronson, the producer of Joanne and a close friend of Gaga’s, isn’t through with giving Alex Pall and Drew Taggart a hard time just yet.

The Chainsmokers have been touring Europe, and they tweeted a middle finger and a quick salutation upon their return to the States. Ronson responded with the quip above, dubbing them “charisma-bypassed champions of 2 bar Ableton loops,” and sending over a link with some helpful investment tips just in case this whole hit-making thing doesn’t work out for them.

Yowwwwch.

Pall and Taggart may not care, or they may be just hurt enough to avoid getting into a bummer of a back-and-forth — either way, they didn’t even bother one-upping Ronson on the burn front or even attempting to.

Guess some feelings are still hurt about “Perfect Illusion,” even if Joanne stands a very good chance of debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and Gaga and Ronson are coming off of a couple of weeks of amazing shows. Sigh.
