19 Nickelodeon Stars Working On New Projects Together

Hug me, brotha!

Seeing your faves reunite is the internet's bread and butter. Our nostalgia runs deep, and we simply can't get enough of former cast members meeting up again and documenting it on social media. Just this year, we've seen several mini Victorious reunions, Drake & Josh's brothas reconnecting on Grandfathered, and Kenan & Kel's stars make a cute Fandango video together.

A couple of weeks ago, we told you about several Disney co-stars working on new stuff, so now it's Nickelodeon stars' turn. See which of your faves from the network are working together on upcoming projects. (Full Disclosure: MTV and Nickelodeon are both owned by Viacom.)

Drake Bell and Jerry Trainor

As we wrote last week, Drake Parker and Crazy Steve from Drake & Josh are co-starring in a new movie called Cover Versions. Supposedly, the plot is about a murder mystery at Coachella, and also stars Debby Ryan, Austin Swift, and Katie Cassidy.

Victoria Justice and Avan Jogia

Tori Vega and Beck Oliver from Victorious co-star in The Outskirts, a comedy that's basically a female version of Revenge of the Nerds, and fans are still waiting for it to premiere.

Unfabulous's Jow and Big Time Rush's Jayde co-star in the TV movie Sisters of the Groom. Although it's set to be released in 2016, there's very little info about it on IMDb.

Jeremy Rowley and Danielle Morrow

iCarly's Louis "Lewbert" Sline and Nora Dershlit — who actually got married IRL over last New Year's weekend — are working together on the comedy film Hickey. Zoey 101's eccentric dorm advisor, Coco Wexler (Jessica Chaffin), is also co-starring on the project.

Jerry Trainor and Allison Scagliotti

Drake & Josh's Crazy Steve and Mindy Crenshaw make up one-half of the band Nice Enough People. Their debut EP, Hanover Hideaway, was released over the summer.

Romeo! star Miller and Chon from Just Jordan are working together on action-horror film Dead Trigger, set to premiere next year.

Matt Shively and Carter Jenkins

Shively of True Jackson, VP (far left) and Jenkins of Unfabulous (far right) worked on the indie film Summer of 8. The film follows several friends, including The Secret Life of the American Teenager's Michael Grant (center), who live up their last day of summer vacation before splitting up for college.

True Jackson, VP star Amell and School of Rock's Cavalero are working together on the comedy When We First Met, a film about a guy (Adam DeVine) who's able to travel back in time and try and fix his friend-zone status with his dream girl.

Drake Bell and Jonathan Goldstein

The father-son duo from Drake & Josh revealed last year, via Bell's Periscope account, they're writing a new show together. Details for this have since remained under wraps, unfortunately, but Bell did tell MTV News back in February he was still working with his TV dad. So when is this pilot coming out, guys? And will it involve cumin waffles, perchance?

Nathan Kress and Jennette McCurdy

Jennette McCurdy and Nathan Kress

Last but not least, Sam and Freddie from iCarly are making a short comedy called 8 Bodies, slated to premiere in January 2017. Kress, who co-stars with McCurdy, as well as True Jackson, VP's Shively, tweeted about the project in April. Besides acting in the short, McCurdy also co-directed and co-wrote it with Colton Tran. The writer-directors both shared the same pic from set months ago, but since Tran's hat is blocking his face, several fans mistakenly believed him to be Kress at the time.
