Travis Scott Gives An Actual, For Real, Serious Release Date For His New Album

Plus a new song with Kanye West

OK. It’s for real this time. Travis Scott is dropping his new album at the end of the month.

After a couple of months of buildup — with announcements in May, June and July that the album would be released in a matter of daysBirds in the Trap Sing McKnight will finally drop in a couple weeks, on August 26.

Though Travis doesn’t seem to want to push any singles from this album (does that mean “Pick Up the Phone” isn't officially on there?), he did play some new jams on his Beats 1 radio show on Friday. In addition to a remix of Alicia Keys’s “In Common” featuring himself and Kanye West, Travis premiered the solo track “The Hooch” and a remix of Usher’s “No Limit.”

Apparently Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, and Cashmere Cat will be on the album, and Cudder certainly seems excited.

We’ll be able to see what that excitement is all about in a couple weeks.
