Lady Gaga’s romance may not have gone so bad after all.

In a new Instagram post, the “Born This Way” singer clarified reports that she and fiancé Taylor Kinney had called it quits for good.

“Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates,” Gaga wrote beside a photo of her and Kinney with their arms around each other. “Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break.”

Gaga continued, “We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on.”

Sounds like love might still have a chance after all. Go, Gaga, go!
